The sculpture is an enlarged fontbullet from IBM Selectric II Typewriter. Selectric was the first typewriter with interchangeable fontface designed in the 1960th, later developed into the wordprocessor/computer. The fontglobe sculpture has a new fontface, ODE.

The researchproject SELECTRIC started 2015 with support from State Art Fund, examining a tool in the turningpoint and development-area between analogue and digital techniqe. Selectric was the first typewriter with interchangeable fontface designed in the 1960th, later developed into the wordprocessor/computer. Each fontglobe sculpture has a new fontface and is made for a new context with new effects.
